Our story
20,000 Leagues was born from a simple idea: life is way too precious to spend it sitting behind a desk. Our founder walked away from decades in the corporate world to chase the water, and built this shop to bring the wonder of the underwater world to everyday people, not just a lucky few.
Here at 20K, we like to think that “being a diver is the closest thing to being an astronaut you'll find on Earth.” You're weightless, breathing in a world most people will never see, face to face with creatures that look like they came from another planet. Every one of us still gets that rush, and we can't wait to share it with you.
And we've got the perfect launch pad. Our shop sits in Flynn Center Crossing on McGinnis Ferry Road, right in the heart of Alpharetta, a road trip from the Atlantic and Gulf coasts and a short drive from the Georgia Aquarium, the coolest aquarium in the country.
