WOMEN’S DIVE DAY COZUMEL

Celebrate PADI Women’s Dive Day in Cozumel! Spend four nights all-inclusive on Cozumel’s reef coast, dive every day on some of the most famous drift reefs in the Caribbean, and spend Saturday on the water with a group of amazing women divers. This trip is hosted by 20K’s female staff only.

THE RESORT: IBEROSTAR WAVES COZUMEL
A beachfront, all-inclusive village of thatched-roof bungalows set in tropical jungle, facing the reef. Our package uses near-pool rooms with air conditioning, a private balcony, Wi-Fi, a minibar and daily housekeeping. You’ll have 5 restaurants and 5 bars, including a swim-up pool bar and a beach bar. There are also jungle pools, a hot tub, a private beach with palapa shade, nightly shows, kayaks and snorkeling right off the beach. The resort is eco-certified and free of single-use plastics.

THE DIVING

• Diving is with Dressel Divers, a PADI 5 Star dive center with its own pier right on the resort beach. You walk from your room to the boat, and your gear can be stored at the dive center overnight.
• 2-tank morning boat dives Friday through Sunday (6 dives)
• Optional 1- or 2-tank afternoon dives and a 1-tank night dive each day, all included in your price
• Free Nitrox for Enriched Air certified divers
• Guided drift dives on the Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park, part of the Mesoamerican Reef. Most sites are 15 minutes or less by boat. Possible sites include Palancar Gardens, Palancar Caves, Paso del Cedral, Tormentos, Colombia, Santa Rosa Wall and Paradise Reef.
• In July the water is typically in the 80s°F with 75–100+ ft visibility. A 3 mm wetsuit or skin is plenty.
• Expect turtles, nurse sharks, eagle rays, giant sponges and maybe the splendid toadfish, found only in Cozumel.

TRIP AT A GLANCE

• Thursday, July 15: Arrive at Cozumel airport (CZM) and transfer to the resort. Check in, register at the dive center, then a group welcome dinner.
• Friday, July 16: Dive day 1. A 2-tank morning boat dive, then an optional afternoon dive and night dive, or relax at the pool and beach.
• Saturday, July 17: PADI Women’s Dive Day! A 2-tank morning dive with the group, a group photo on the pier, optional afternoon dives, and a Women’s Dive Day celebration dinner.
• Sunday, July 18: Dive day 3. A final 2-tank morning dive, finishing by midday so there’s a 24-hour gap before flying. Beach time in the afternoon, then a farewell dinner.
• Monday, July 19: Breakfast, check out and transfer to CZM for flights home.

NON-DIVERS WELCOME
Non-divers get the same all-inclusive stay, meals, drinks and transfers. They can enjoy the pools, beach, spa, kayaking and snorkeling while the group dives, or try diving with a beginner experience at Dressel.

GOOD TO KNOW

• Fly into Cozumel (CZM) only. Group transfers run only to and from CZM.
• You’ll need a passport valid for travel to Mexico.
• Divers need Open Water certification (or equivalent). Bring your C-card, your Nitrox card if you have one, and your logbook.
• Haven’t been diving in a while? Book a refresher with us before the trip.
• July is hurricane season, so we recommend travel insurance.
