Journey with Gentle Giants is the only opportunity in the world where you are guaranteed to swim with whale sharks, manta rays and more. You’ll get to swim with a snorkel in the Ocean Voyager exhibit, built by The Home Depot, with thousands of amazing animals for the experience of a lifetime.

The exhibit contains 6.3 million gallons of water and ranges from 20 to 30 feet deep (6-9 m) with water temperature controlled at 76°F (24°C). This exhibit houses thousands of fish and over 100 species including whale sharks, zebra sharks and several other species of sharks and rays, just to name a few!

Georgia Aquarium is the only location in the world where diving face-to-fin with whale sharks, the largest fish on Earth, is guaranteed. In Journey with Gentle Giants experience, plunge into the depths of Ocean Voyager and come closer than ever before to a vast diversity of species from three different oceans. Open Water certified divers ages 12 and up are eligible to participate in the SCUBA program. All gear is provided for the 30-40 minute dive and personal masks are permitted.

Special notes for this program:

• Must be 12+ to attend with nationally recognized proof of Open Water SCUBA certification and photo ID.

• Any participant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult in the water with them with 1:1 adult/kid ratio for kids 12-14, 1:7 ratio for 15-17 year olds.

• Parents or court appointed legal guardians must sign the program liability waiver and animal interactive program guidelines for guests under 18.

• Once booked, refunds are not available from Georgia Aquarium or 20,000 Leagues Scuba and Outdoors.

Price:  $374.95 Non-members or $355.95 for active Aquarium Members. To receive the member price, you must be a member as of the date of the dive.
